We had no trouble conceiving our first child, so we were surprised when nothing had happened after a year and a half of trying for a second baby. We decided to get some help from a Creighton practitioner.  Our Practitioner taught us how to chart and promptly referred us to a NaPro Medical Consultant. She sent for blood tests that mirrored the chart data. I was diagnosed with secondary infertility. After analyzing the data she prescribed some hormones to balance my body and we conceived on our first month of treatment. The pregnancy was tracked for several months to prevent miscarriage. We will be welcoming a new baby any day now. From the start of working with our Practitioner until the baby's conception was 5 months. We highly recommend the Creighton Model and NaPro Technology for dealing with family fertility needs and women's health issues.

I believe that without the help of Creighton and NaProTechnology, there is a good chance I may have struggled with infertility for many more years and never had children (or at least, many pregnancies ending in miscarriage).  I now have two beautiful, healthy "NaPro babies" and am positive about my future health and fertility.

Like 1 in 6 couples today, my husband and I struggled with infertility in the early years of our marriage. Thankfully, we were made aware of the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and were successfully treated through NaProTechnology. While the media and most people are only aware of such mainstream artificial reproductive treatments like InVitro Fertilization, there is another option that I wish to share with you that is 2-3 times more effective than IVF, less expensive, less invasive, and doesn’t result in frozen embryos or multiple births.

In 2010, my husband and I began our journey to parenthood by learning the Creighton Model FertilityCare System from a certified nurse practitioner who was trained in this unique system. After six months of charting, my husband and I were referred to a NaProTechnology physician who practiced family medicine in Alberta. She coordinated all of our infertility treatments around my unique menstrual cycle, diagnosed the underlying issues responsible for my infertility, and restored my health and fertility.

After seven months of following her treatment plan, we successfully conceived and I gave birth to healthy little boy in December 2011. When our son was twelve months old, we conceived our second son in our very first cycle using the NaPro treatment plan. Then, in early 2014, we learned that a third child was on the way! The Creighton Model FertiltyCare System and NaProTechnology has given us so much new information and hope. I recommend them both with all my heart. Please try this before you try anything else.

We weren't sure if we would be able to have kids as I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis following a laparoscopy and we had been trying for a few years to have children. We tried fertility pills and acupuncture to no avail, and we pretty much surrendered our will to God and accepted the fact that it might just be the two of us when a friend suggested we try the Creighton method. We looked into it and attended an information session and knew right away that it was worth trying.  Plus, the fees are inexpensive compared to other fertility treatments.

Our Creighton instructor was very thorough and clear and we were able to determine times of fertility and infertility. After a few cycles and based on my charts & Creighton protocol, she suggested I try taking vitamin b6 to increase my cervical mucus and also referred me to a Napro practitioner for further assistance. To our surprise and delight, that cycle, I conceived!  With the help of our Napro practitioner, I was able to carry the baby to full term and a few weeks ago, about one year since we started learning the Creighton method, I delivered a healthy baby boy!

We highly recommend the Creighton method for couples wanting to try to conceive naturally.

After over a decade of having hormonal imbalances (mostly due to PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome) and taking the birth control pill to manage all this, I finally became aware of all the bad side effects of the pill. At the same time, I was terrified to stop taking the pill, worried that all my awful symptoms would return.  I was also concerned because my husband and I were not, and are currently not, planning on conceiving.  We were wary but hopeful about a Natural Family Planning System working for us.

In our first meeting with our Creighton Model practitioner, I felt somehow empowered and confident that things were going to improve. I could tell that my Creighton practitioner deeply cared about and understood my needs, worries and anxieties. After a few cycles of charting, my Practitioner noted that my charting showed possible evidence of PCOS so she referred me to a NaPro Technology medical consultant.  The medical consultant did a thorough investigation, gave a proper diagnosis, and successfully treated the problem.

My NaPro experience has been beyond amazing. Now I know for sure that my problem of PCOS is being properly treated through NaPro instead of just being masked by suppressing the symptoms with artificial hormones. I know the Creighton and NaPro systems work because they have helped me achieve improved health (regular cycles instead of very long cycles, for example).  Also, Creighton charting accommodates our particular family planning needs and has allowed us to naturally & successfully avoid pregnancy since I came off the pill in May 2015.

Using Creighton Model is one of the best and most positive experiences I’ve ever encountered in terms of my health and understanding my body.

My husband and I were diagnosed with infertility in late 2009 and were referred to a fertility clinic by our GP.  We had appointments and evaluation in 2010 and were told that I had a limited ovarian reserve, making it difficult for us to conceive.  The recommendation was to do three cycles of treatment using fertility boosting medication/drugs followed by IVF if the fertility drugs didn’t work on their own (and the fertility specialist told us she didn’t think the chances were good with the fertility drugs only).  Because we were both over 35 years old and because of my limited reserve, the fertility specialist concluded that we were close to timing out.

After researching IVF and realizing all of the increased risk of complications during pregnancy, labour and post-partum for both me and any potential baby of ours, we decided that IVF was not for us.  Thinking that there were no other options, we pretty much gave up on the idea of biological children began researching adoption.

In a last-ditch effort several months after, we did a websearch for alternatives to IVF and came across NaProTechnology.  We were blown away by the statistics for achieving pregnancy for couples with the diagnosis of infertility.   This gave us a renewed sense of hope toward reversing our infertility!  In January 2012 we began Creighton Model follow-ups to learn how to chart and to eventually be referred to a NaProTechnology Medical Consultant.  Our practitioner was very supportive and understanding, as was our NaPro Medical Consultant.

Although it took some time, it was well worth it!  After being properly diagnosed and treated for low progesterone and stage 1 endometriosis (neither of these problems were detected or addressed by the fertility clinic), we were finally able to conceive in 2014 and I carried my baby to term.  Pregnancy and labour were complication-free for both me and our son!  He is happy and healthy; my husband and I are elated!

The bonus has been that we’ve been able to use Creighton Model to chart since about a month after delivery in order to monitor my return to fertility and to space out pregnancies.  My husband and I successfully navigated a winding return to fertility while I breastfed our son.  We have been able to avoid pregnancy for almost fourteen months but are now looking forward to (hopefully) having another child.  We feel pretty confident with Creighton and NaPro on our side!
